We’re the Rockalls. We have two kids, a dog, a cat, and a bunch of egg-laying chickens that produce more eggs than we can eat. So naturally, when our cottage tenants moved we thought, “We have a great place and extra fresh eggs, let’s open a bed and breakfast!” Thus, the Purpletree B & B was born!
Seriously, it’s a nice place and we enjoy meeting new people so come and stay. This is an excellent location for exploring the whole coast, with great beaches nearby and easy highway access for travelling further afield or going to the shops or for coffee a few blocks away. The cottage also has its own deck and garden area with a fire pit. It is good for families and pets, as there is lots of room to run around, or a romantic getaway for couples who would like a secluded spot. Plus, there is room for a trailer or boat, if needed, and secure bicycle storage. For the MTB crowd, there is a hose to clean your ride, Spin Cycles is close by for parts and repairs, and the coast trails are close.
If you want a place on the coast where you can roast marshmallows on a fire, hear the froggy chorus, occasional owl hoots, and coyote calls at night, and where the deer play (sorry, no antelope), then give us a call. Rate based on double occupancy or family; breakfast and extra people or pets can be arranged with us. Just give us a call.
